Schedule: 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday
Pay rate: $41 per hour
HVAC Technician responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure facility maintenance and identify deficiencies for resolution.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including refrigerant, heat exchangers, pumps, and air conditioning equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and maintain logs for equipment history, lubrication, and operational status.
- Address heating and cooling issues, handle water treatment systems, and maintain accurate inventory of filters and refrigerants.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical controls, wiring, and motor systems, including single and three-phase motors.
- Collaborate with team members on major repairs, support client satisfaction processes, and optimize the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines, handle hazardous materials responsibly, and operate tools and equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, with formal HVAC training and applicable certifications, including a Universal Refrigeration License and valid driver's license.
- Six or more years of related HVAC experience is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email, with the ability to read, interpret, and write technical documents and effectively communicate with groups.
- Capable of applying common sense to standardized situations and performing calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages, and interpreting data.
- Must satisfactorily perform all essential duties, with accommodations available as needed, and demonstrate aptitude for additional training in computer applications.
