Summary of Position: Assist instructor in implementing the individualized goals and objectives for student. Assist with student intake documentation and the maintenance of personalized education plans. Observe and record specific student data, targeted goals, objectives and routinely communicate observations and progress with the instructor. This position works to promote social justice within the division and the larger academic institution.
This position will be at the Viroqua campus and will be required to staff a classroom Monday-Thursday 8:30-12:30 in the Fall and Spring terms.

2. Perform office function's which may include, but are not limited to: respond to internal/external customers and staff; create and modify documents, records, and reports using College standard software; maintain hard copy and/or electronic filing system; monitor inventory and budget information; schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for meetings and/or appointments.
3. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.
4. Student Success is the cornerstone of Western's culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success.
5. Clerical Assistance - Supporting Action/Task May Include:
- Administer client reporting form and other intake documentation
- Monitor and record student progress and achievement toward educational goals
- Track attendance for multiple reporting purposes
6. Instructional Support - Supporting Action/Task May Include:
- Prepare and assist with the delivery of instructional materials
- Organize instructional and test preparation resources for easy delivery
- Proctor TABE and other examinations
7. Student support - Supporting Action/Task May Include:
- Provide one-on-one instructional support, under the supervision and direction of the instructor
- Identify 'test-ready' students per instructor guidelines
- Help connect students with campus and community resources
8. Travel - Supporting Action/Task May Include:
- Travel between campuses for clerical in-services and the transmission of learning materials and other supplies
This position reports to: Data and Testing Manager
Starting hourly salary range: $16.34
