Piping Designer

Piping Designer - Minimum 1 Year Contract Role

We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer for a contract position with our client in Brazoria, TX. This role has the potential to be ongoing based on project needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and revise piping drawings during design and MOC processes.
• Assemble piping design packages for construction.
• Provide design assistance throughout project phases.
• Track and report progress on current and future piping projects.
• Perform field walk-downs and support project demands, including overtime as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 5-10 years in piping design, preferably in refining or petrochemical industries.
• Education: AAS Degree or 2+ years equivalent craft/designer work.
• Proficient in 3D modeling, point cloud workflows, and piping standards.
• Ability to work safely in office and refinery environments.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Software/Hardware Proficiency:

Required:

• AutoCAD (or equivalent)
• CADWorx Plant (or equivalent)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred:

• Leica CloudWorx, Navisworks, AutoCAD P3D
• Falcon, SAP, Leica
