Summary:

MaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital has an immediate need for a Program Management Specialist to join our Community Health team. The Program Management Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and implementation of State and Federal Community Health Grants for Mid Coast Hospital. The primary responsibility of this position will be to coordinate program implementation, evaluation and communication needs related to our Tobacco and Substance Misuse Prevention Programs.

The Program Management Specialist is responsible for implementation, evaluation and oversight of assigned programs. The Program Management Specialist will draft program work plans, monitor day to day activities, timelines and other operational aspects of assigned programs. With minimal direction, may lead one or more small programs. Community & Public Health professionals are encouraged to apply.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Health care related field required.

2. License/Certifications: N/A

3. Experience: Two years of relevant work experience demonstrating knowledge of project coordination, administrative practices, and hospital/healthcare systems required.
