Job Overview
Provides the resource to procure and expedite the delivery of parts to support expected demand and replenishment requirements to improve overall availability and minimize backorder status. Responsible for expediting non-stock and stock backorders as well as ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet distributor requirements. Accountability to identify supplier deficiencies and recommend actions for improvement to team management, including supplier leadtime inaccuracies and any other issues that may affect overall availability goals. Responsible for achieving supplier performance metrics and making fact-based decisions on supplier overtime as well as managing a proportional share of premium freight budget. Additional responsibility to collaborate with planners to ensure pro-active coverage of expected requirements including demand, kits, firm future orders. Key Job Responsibilities

* Seasoned general business or industry experience. High school diploma required. College degree a plus.
