Location: Greenville, SC

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst I (Wet Chemistry) to join our Greenville, SC team. In this role, you will perform environmental sample preparation, testing, and analyses in our Wet Chemistry laboratory using a variety of analytical techniques. You will work closely with experienced laboratory professionals, contributing directly to environmental compliance efforts and helping protect our shared environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyze client samples using wet chemistry techniques,
  • Laboratory Readiness: Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked laboratory environment; ensure equipment is properly calibrated and ready for daily operations.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to established safety protocols, quality control guidelines, and standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Data Validation & Reporting: Validate analytical results, accurately record data, complete logs and documentation, and submit reports in compliance with environmental standards.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work effectively with team members to meet project deadlines, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues as they arise.


Qualifications:



  • Education:


    • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related science field is preferred.
    • An Associate's degree in a related field plus relevant laboratory experience will also be considered.


  • Experience:


    • 2+ years of experience in an analytical laboratory environment preferred, but not required.
    • Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques is a plus.


  • Technical Skills:


    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to learn and use Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and other analytical software.


  • Soft Skills:


    • Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple assignments efficiently.
    • Reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented mindset.
