Job Description:

Schedule on call shifts (M-F 8:30-5)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Arranges and schedules project services and care providers for assigned population groups to optimize use of available talent and resources, and, as necessary, provides project services to clients.
  • Provides orientation materials and information to personnel regarding organizational goals and procedures, applicable regulations and standards, and care administration techniques and procedures.
  • Monitors project activity levels and resulting quantitative and qualitative data to ensure compliance with project's contractual requirements and to identify training and professional development needs and areas for expanding services.
  • Designs effective procedures to maintain and document training procedures.
  • Maintains accurate records relating to project's services and personnel.
  • Monitors project's expenses and revenues and develops strategies for meeting related budgetary goals.
  • Debriefing on call calls/how they were handled with the 3 primary access/point of entry staff.
  • Send information to Access/POE staff to complete the triage for EPS email notifications; be point of contact, in addition to other managers within DSD.
  • Back up for access shifts, as needed.
  • Be in rotation to help monitor the DSD referral proxy box.
  • Management of the clients opened in Avatar by POE staff weekly.
  • Training on new developments/changes in rules for access/POE, including Avatar changes in conjunction with manager.
  • Link mobile response calls to after-hours responders as needed.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Work, Special Education, or Human Services.

EXPERIENCE

  • Four to six years clinical/personal care management experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Thorough knowledge of client population types (e.g., chemically dependent, developmentally disabled, severely emotionally disturbed children), related care services provided, and applicable regulations and standards.
  • Good supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively schedule multiple cases with available personnel resources.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Position has no unusual physical demands. Typical office environment.
  • Reliable transportation for daily travel between work sites.
