Technical Lead Employer: SEI Investments Company Position: Technical Lead Location: 1 Freedom Valley Drive, Oaks, PA 19456 Job Duties: The Technical Lead works with an application development organization and utilizes experience in the following: delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation; Microsoft technologies including ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server; building Software as a Server (SaaS) applications; development solutions within an Application Container and Dockers; the analysis, design, and build of SQL ad hoc reports including SSRS and Crystal Reports; database access methods and SQL constructs; an investment management and/or financial services organization; key business concepts and challenges of investment-processing components, such as portfolio accounting, asset data, and operations; accounting engines (such as Investran, Investier, Geneva, Yardi), and/or related technologies; defining and driving Cloud migration and strategy; and with business intelligence technologies, such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview, and related. The Technical Lead is responsible for the following: developing and designing technical solutions based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements and documentation activities (including agile and scrum patterns); producing high-quality code to meet all project deadlines and ensuring the functionality matches the requirements; analyzing and resolving issues found during the testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery lifecycle; coordinating changes with project team leaders and cross-work team members; providing technical leadership to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about programs; interacting with data architects, other technical leads, team members and project manager, as required, addressing technical and scheduling issues; suggesting and implementing process improvements for estimating, development, and testing processes; ensuring team designs and delivers code in alignment with published SEI & industry standards; and creating system and process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence and UML diagrams, inter and intra system dependencies within the functional domain and across them. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or applicable programming area of study, plus seven (7) years post-baccalaureate experience working with an application development organization.
