Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic finance leader to oversee and optimize our procurement and expense management functions, in addition to the client reporting and invoicing functions of the company. This individual will create the procurement processes within the company, manage vendor spend and optimize the procurement process to deliver the best unit cost for third party services. This individual will also manage the client billing and client reporting processes and will implement technology solutions to automate & streamline the process. The role requires a detail-oriented problem solver with a strong process orientation who works well in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: Day shift, 40-hour work weeks. Flexible schedule options available between 7am - 7pm after six months of employment.

Setting: Professional office environment. Hybrid and remote options available.

Responsibilities



  • Oversee the organization's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial activities.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and optimize costs.
  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier selection.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the implementation and management of financial systems, ensuring they support operational needs and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimize the functionality and integration of financial systems.
  • Implement operational and financial controls within the reporting and procurement processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within financial operations and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or another related field is required.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management and/or in financial operations or management, with a focus on financial systems
  • Experience in technology/healthcare technology firms preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Experience in process improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective written communication, primarily through e-mail, and verbal communication with external contacts and internal customers.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and work independently.

  • Frequently uses visual and auditory senses for extended periods of time.
  • Frequently uses computer peripherals requiring the use of hands and fingers.
