Job Description: The Manager of IT Operations will oversee the day-to-day management of our IT infrastructure and operations. The incumbent must possess a strong background in IT management, with specific experience in a regulated environment. They will be responsible for ensuring the stability security and compliance of our IT systems., as well as leading initiatives to optimize and streamline our operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network infrastructure, systems administration, help desk support, and cybersecurity.
- Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of IT projects and initiatives.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of our IT systems and data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to support business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring that external IT services and solutions meet our business needs and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, leveraging technology to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our operations and making recommendations for adoption.
- Prepare and present reports, metrics, and analysis to senior management, demonstrating the effectiveness and value of IT operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, ITIL, PMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on infrastructure management and operations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems and technologies, including networking, server administration, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as FDA guidelines and GxP compliance.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational change.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
- Experience with IT security and compliance, including knowledge of HIPAA, FDA regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
Shift: Monday - Friday Compensation & Benefits: This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
