Position: Sr. Manager, Supply Planning

Reports To: Senior Director, Supply Chain Segment

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin - HYBRID

Position Summary: The Supply Planning Manager position plays a key role in the success of Regal Rexnord's Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) for the Industrial Components division of the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) segment. The position is responsible for leading, developing and implementing the inventory management strategy for Industrial Components. The role will oversee inventory health performance, manage material movement, monitor inventories across distribution facilities to optimize intra-company replenishments establishing targets and reporting metrics. This role is expected to leverage our business technologies and partner with order fulfillment and sales organizations to develop automated inventory replenishment solutions to realize best in class practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with corporate demand planners and site operations to develop supply plans spanning 18-month rolling time period.

  • Partners with sites to ensure necessary production output and inventory position to support desired levels of customer service performance.

  • Oversees supply production plans are supported with defined labor plans and machine capacity - addressing key points of constraints.

  • Responsible for capacity utilization reporting and balancing with site operations leadership; partnering together to address constraints or balancing supply & demand.

  • Oversight of improve inventory strategies and processes that drive on time delivery and working capital optimization.

  • Utilizes inventory management analysis and processes such as ABC, XYZ analysis to strategically position inventory.

  • Accountable for measuring Supply Plan accuracy including Production Attainment across key focus sites and measurement of Inventory Health.

  • Oversees root cause analysis of past due demand across key focus sites to determine root cause and ensure temporary and permanent resolution in place to prevent future service level disruptions.

  • Based on Supply Plan, proactively identify potential service disruptions and partner to balance Supply/Demand or develop allocation methodology to support service performance.

  • Communicate supply plan risk and gaps and determine course of action to bridge gaps and establish recovery. Assessing sources of alternative supply or determining allocation priorities.

  • Partner with Divisional Supply Chain leader to communicate Supply Plans to key External Suppliers and confirming Supplier Capacity supports plan.

  • Oversight of proposed finished goods stocking levels in Distribution Warehouses and partner with Mfg. Sites to prioritize Stock Transport Orders/Independent Requirements based on DC need or Customer DC need.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related Supply Chain

  • Previous experience with SAP, Oracle or equivalent ERP

  • Previous supply chain experience with focus on inventory management in manufacturing industry

  • Experience with deep financial analytics using large data sets and reporting skills

  • Experience with Business Intelligence and Tableau

  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint, ERP (SAP/Oracle), Planning Tools (Demantra), and Analytical Dashboards (Power BI)

  • Knowledge of lean tools and mindset to drive for continuous improvement

Travel:

  • Up to 25% Domestic and International travel is required for this position
