We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Programmer to become an integral part of our Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in CNC programming, AutoCAD, and Sigmanest software to transform customer visions into reality. Your ability to interpret customer-supplied drawings and sketches will be crucial in converting them into precise machine language, ensuring the production of high-quality finished parts.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Program parts for processing on all equipment: plate cutting (Oxy-Fuel and plasma), machining, plate laser, piece finishing
  • Create piece-part super nests to improve material utilization
  • Adjustments to drawings based on customer need, equipment downtime, operator feedback, etc.
  • Interact with customers and suppliers on a daily basis
  • Customer satisfaction management of Quality with a 98% on-time delivery requirement
  • Daily compliance with job work instructions
  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvements in all work processes
  • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required; Associate's or Technical Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a programming position
  • CAD 2 & 3 D, CNC Machining Center programming experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Sigmanest nesting software and various machine codes to communicate with a wide range of CNC machine controllers (understanding of M-G code)
  • Familiarity with SigmaNest software
  • Strong math skills, strong written and oral communication skills
