Overview

Provides technical support to the quality and quality engineering (QE) functions | Conducts quality control

(QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process

to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards | Captures and analyzes statistical data

from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards |

Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standards



Major Position Responsibilities

* Assists with repetitive and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard

parts, units, equipment, or materials

* Supports with inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products

according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical

measurements.

* Reworks or rejects subassemblies or finished products as required. Performs audits to ensure

standards of quality are maintained.

* Accurately documents the results of the inspections and testing.

* Coordinates calibration of test equipment and fixtures.

* Assists in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.

* Requires ability to interpret prints, schematics, and drawings.

* Performs manual tasks according to established procedures

* Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks

* Develops understanding in an analytical or scientific method or operational process

* Works with close supervision



Basic Qualifications

Required Education:

Attending a Vocational / Technical School or internal training program

Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience or Skillset

Preferred Education: Vocational/Technical Training Degree

Discipline/Major: Technical training preferred

Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): Not Required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Mathematical skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. Detail oriented.



Pay Range (USD)

Min $33,250.00 Annu. Max $61,750.00 Annu.


Pay Transparency Statement

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process.


Additional Compensation

Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
