Description

TDI is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Facility Security Officer to join our team as part of a Federal Contractor organization. The Facility Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of personnel, property, and sensitive information in compliance with federal regulations and company policies. This position requires 3-5 years of experience in security operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex security situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Compliance and Reporting:

* Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local security regulations, as well as company policies.

* Prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as required.

* Update and Maintain Security SOPs.

2. Customer Service:

* Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors, addressing security concerns professionally.

* Assist with directions and information requests while maintaining a security presence.

3. Training and Development:

* Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on security procedures and technologies.

* Onboarding new team members.

* Ensure the Security Education, Training and Awareness programs regulations, standards, and compliance requirements are being met for all employees.

4. Specialized Duties:

* Support classified material handling and protection.

* Ensure databases are checked daily to ensure accurate information across all platforms and correct as needed to ensure compliance

* Maintains all security documentation and files in accordance with security regulations.

* Maintain Tracker of accounts, accesses, clearances, and badges.

* Enter PII information in to DISS to kick-off clearance process.

* Initiate CAC, USID cards in the RAPIDS System and activate badges.

* Process employee security information, schedule visit requests, respond to the various shipyard requirements for visits, schedule debriefs, track international travel and various other related duties.

5. Access Control and Monitoring:

* Manage and monitor access to facilities, ensuring only authorized individuals enter secure areas.

* Operate and monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.

* Complete DISS visit requests.

6. Incident Response:

* Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.

* Conduct initial investigations, document findings, and report to the appropriate authorities as necessary.

Requirements

Experience:

3-5 years of experience as an FSO or Security Assistant for a federal contractor.

Education:

Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field or an additional four years of Security related experience in lieu of a degree.

Clearance:

Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance.

Skills:

* Experience with the DISS/NBIS, NISS, SWFT, eQIP/eAPP, SAAR, PSAAR, SF-86 and SF-85P forms preferred.

* Knowledge of OPSEC procedures and application of OPSEC to Sensitive Government information preferred.

* Knowledge of analyzing requests for investigations for security investigations and violations.

* Strong organizational and analytical skills.

* Excellent verbal and written communication.

* Understanding of the processes of Federal Investigative Standards (FIS), Security Executive Agent Directives (SEAD), and other regulations for security for federal contractors.

* Experience in conducting security audits is helpful, but not required.

Professionalism:

Proven ability to maintain discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in all duties.

Location:

This role may allow some flexibility to periodically work from home but the candidate must be local to Wayne, PA.
