Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement building automation systems (BAS) software solutions
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand system requirement and design specifications
  • Program, configure, and integrate BAS controllers, devices, and systems from various manufacturers
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure functionality and performance
  • Develop customized graphics and user interfaces for BAS dashboards
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on BAS operations

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor


Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience programming and configuring BAS systems, including controllers (e.g., Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls)
  • Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks); proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java is a plus
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, lighting controls, access controls, and other building systems integration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment


Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
