Job Description: Amherst College invites applications for the Administrative Assistant in Student Accessibility Services (SAS) position. The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, year-round position, starting at $21.78 per hour - commensurate with experience. Given Amherst's distinction as one of the most diverse liberal arts colleges in the country, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ways in which they bring value to and will work towards supporting a broadly diverse community. Reporting to the Director of Student Accessibility Services, the Administrative Assistant works in a team environment, coordinates and performs various activities that increase efficiency, support the work of SAS, and ensure smooth operations of SAS. The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, in-person, and year-round position. All Division of Student Affairs members are active members in fostering a diverse workforce, improving diverse student experiences, and participating in the College's efforts to create a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment. We welcome candidates who are active problem solvers, eager to improve the student experience, and curious about innovative solutions to both challenging and routine tasks.
