Wecontinue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization. Weld and assemble different pieces by using hand held welding equipment such as hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures; utilize different materials (plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing) * Prepare and complete work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal * Test and inspect welded components to ensure they meet set specifications before moving to the next department * Work from different specifications and shop orders * Utilize ruler, square, templates, and gauges to take and read measurements * Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables * Report damages on machines and equipment; maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety * Report all unsafe conditions to management * Monitor/control the robotic welding process * Operate robotic welding equipment to perform welding tasks * Perform visual inspection of weld quality * Program robotic welding systems * Provide work reports/feedback to supervisors or engineering teams * Set up/prepare robotic welding equipment for operation * Troubleshoot/resolve and recover from potential technical issues that may arise * Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor * Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. * Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential The payrange/rate of pay for this position is $18.13-$27.14; base payoffered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
