Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient focused and cost-efficient drug therapy. Performs all functions of Pharmacy Technician I & II positions.

Required: VA Pharmacy Technician License, PTCB National Certification, 3 months IV room experience

Shifts are rotating 10-hour shifts with the earliest shift starting at 0600 and the latest shift ending at 2100. Every other weekend is required.

Job Summary

VA OR NC (depending upon the state location) Pharmacy Technician Registration Number and PTCB or NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). 1 year Pharmacy Technician, 3 months experience working in IV Room. CSPT Preferred

Shifts are rotating 10-hour shifts with the earliest shift starting at 0600 and the latest shift ending at 2100. Technicians will also be expected to work every other weekend.
