Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient focused and cost-efficient drug therapy. Performs all functions of Pharmacy Technician I & II positions. Required: VA Pharmacy Technician License, PTCB National Certification, 3 months IV room experience Shifts are rotating 10-hour shifts with the earliest shift starting at 0600 and the latest shift ending at 2100. Every other weekend is required. CSPT Preferred Shifts are rotating 10-hour shifts with the earliest shift starting at 0600 and the latest shift ending at 2100. Technicians will also be expected to work every other weekend.
