Description

Financial Center Bankers have an in depth knowledge of Northwest products and services. The Financial Center Banker connects our customers with Northwest products and services that fulfill their financial needs while ensuring an exceptional customer experience that helps implement strategies to attain office goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Have consistent, holistic financial wellness conversations utilizing the CARE (Connect, Ask, Recommend, Expand) best practices
  • Achieve or exceed the overall sales performance goals of the office
  • Responsible for ensuring that office staff are consistently providing the best customer experience possible
  • Assist with implementation of Northwest's strategic business plan and marketing initiatives
  • Resolve or escalate issues referred by the office team
  • Maintain community presence and involvement
  • Cross train on additional responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve customer issues as well as resolve or escalate issues referred by the office team
  • Originate and process consumer loan requests
  • Knowledge of all office systems and software
  • Review and monitor daily scorecard
  • Supervise vault operations and procedures
  • Participate in and conduct regular office meetings
  • Attend educational/training seminars as needed
  • Conduct outbound business calls/referrals on a regular basis
  • Work evening hours and weekends as scheduled, assigned, or necessary
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
  • Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
  • Work as part of a team
  • Work with on-site equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred


Work Experience:



  • 3 - 5 years banking and/or retail experience preferred
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Consumer lending experience preferred
