The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Student Services (AD) and working closely with other members of the Student Services staff, particularly the Director of Operations and other Student Services Coordinator, the Student Services Coordinator will interact with students, faculty and administrators from the Law School and University in order to support the mission of the office.

Responsibilities



  • First-responder in the Student Services Suite; Direct students and members of the community whether they present to the front desk, call the office or email the office to the appropriate resources or administrators.
  • Support the AD in all aspects of their work, including event planning and execution; maintenance of the Student Services suite and environment; processing vendor payments and expense reports; and student communications.
  • Assist AD in supporting academic advisors in their student-facing work.
  • Assist in the planning of school wide events and programs on a daily and weekly basis, with peak operational periods at orientation and graduation.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.


Minimum Qualifications



  • High school diploma or the equivalent required.
  • The successful incumbent will have experience in higher education, preferably with graduate students.
  • Must be computer literate, with a solid background in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite.
  • The coordinator must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Will be able to set goals and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and work successfully under pressure, as a member of a team, and independently.
  • Detail-oriented and exhibit excellent judgment and discretion, while always maintaining confidentiality. You must be available for after-hour and weekend overtime work from time to time.
  • Must be able to work with diverse constituencies and support an inclusive work environment.
