What You'll Do The Solution Engineer (SE) is a proactive, results-driven expert technologist responsible for promoting Teradata solutions to customers, prospects, and distributors, while establishing and developing "trusted advisor" relationships across target accounts, from DBAs to CIOs. With broad knowledge in data architecture, data warehousing, analytics, digital transformation, and cloud modernization, the SE leverages their expertise to drive sales and support customer success. The SE is a hands-on professional, who not only excels in architecting, designing, and delivering analytic data platforms but is also a highly motivated team leader, consistently taking initiative and stepping up to challenges to deliver impactful results. Furthermore, a solutions engineer is an exceptional communicator, capable of influencing senior business leaders and articulating the value of Teradata solutions at all levels of the organization. They provide technical consulting, support sales activities, and identify new opportunities within accounts, continuously enhancing customer relationships and positioning Teradata solutions as key enablers of digital transformation.
Who You'll Work With This role is the technical sales leader for Teradata Account Team, partners with Account Executive and extended account team on account planning and strategy, and partners with Consulting, Customer Services, Global Sales Support, Pricing, Finance, and sales to formulate offers and proposals.
