Environmental Restoration LLC is a provider of cost effective hazardous wastes material management and removal services. Our services include Emergency Response, Site Remediation, Environmental Construction, and Specialty Technical Services. Since 1997, we have been a remediation contractor for federal, state, local agencies and private sector clients, providing services nationwide from our St. Louis corporate headquarters and from our 24 regional offices located across the United States.

Job Description

The Field Cost Accountant position assists the Site Project Manager in completing site specific documentation. Duties include completing timesheets, procuring equipment/materials, procuring subcontracted services including lodging accommodations, coding/approving invoices for AP, providing cost estimates as well as other administrative duties as needed. Assists project manager to stay in compliance with contract guidelines. Extensive travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Perform general clerical duties such as:

-Maintain accurate site files

-Data entry for payroll, AP/AR

-Prepare contractor daily cost reports

-Coordinate the acquisition and delivery of site equipment/materials

-Assist with site procurement meeting company and contract requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

Must be adept in use of a personal computer, including email, word processing (Word), spreadsheet programs (Excel), and PowerPoint.


Good written and verbal communication skills.

Detail oriented and deadline driven.

Reliable, honest and accountable.

Ability to work independently with a multitude of tasks effectively.

Must have excellent problem solving skills coupled with the ability to apply logic.

Prefer knowledge of AP/Payroll/Billing-Reconciliation Processes.

Prefer knowledge of EPA RCMS cost control software.

Requires use of motor vehicle so must maintain current, valid driver's license.


College degree is preferred, but not required.

Travel

Extensive travel may be required.
