Education: Typically requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience

Description:

The primary duties will be to support the development of mission critical capabilities migrated to modern, cloud-based environments, with utilization of DevSecOps technologies for deployment automation, service-oriented architectures, and modern code management tools and programming languages. The responsibilities involve architecting and developing software for an application modernization project for the customer. As a software engineer, you will work with the mission to transform existing enterprise software into modern cloud-native applications to reduce the time to launch and increase release frequency, including code development approaches to modernize the government customer's tools stack and deploy them to AWS cloud.

    • Requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
    • SAFe Agile Certification
    • 2+ years experience as a Scrum Master
    • Certified Product Owner
    • Certified Scrum Master
    • Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
      • Proficient in software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services).
      • Demonstrated hands-on experience with relational and non-relational database systems such as Amazon RDS, Postgres
      • Knowledge of web-based architectures and technologies, such as web servers, HTTP, SSL
      • Experience using AWS services/technologies (e.g. S3, ECS)
      • Experience programming in VB.NET , C# and C+
      • Experience supporting development testing
      • Experience with cloud-based architectures
      • Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and workflow
      • Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines
      • Knowledge of SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices
      • Understanding of custom code development/reviews
  • Familiar with deployment platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or other proprietary deployment platforms.
  • Familiar with Apache NiFi
  • Familiar with Ansible, YAML, and writing playbooks
