Position Summary:

As our Quality Engineer specializing in programming, you will be responsible for product quality verification! Winchester Hermetics is a unique design and manufacturing company that works with cutting-edge technology for the most demanding high-cost-of-failure applications. We support the World's leading Tech companies in a variety of markets using our "GSD" attitude while still having FUN.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • CMM programming will include Zeiss Calypso software and a strong understanding of GD&T standards. Certifications preferred.
  • BS degree required and 3-5 years of quality experience
  • Analytical thinker with demonstrated technical ability to perform root cause analysis, prepare and implement action plans, lead improvement initiatives, and interface with customer's technical resources
  • Work with drawings, specifications, inspection, and department procedures
  • Operate and maintain mechanical inspection equipment such as micrometers, pin gages, OGP, and simple electrical and hermeticity testing equipment
  • Effective use of microscope (10-40x) for inspection of workmanship defects
  • Document and maintain inspection records

  • General QMS - In-process Inspection, final QC, receiving inspection, review FAIs, and maintain control plans


  • Long-Term Organic Growth - Help build talent in the QC team by growing current team members and training new hires, reduction/eliminating RMA's & CAR's, improving inspections, yield, & reducing inventory adjustments


  • A Quality Culture - Champion the Winchester culture while creating a strong department


  • Safety - Support and awareness of safety policies and procedures
  • Actively participate on behalf of the Quality team both internally and externally on NPI projects, Engineering requirements, contract review, RMA's, CAR's, production, and general customer service
  • Support the maintenance of inspection criteria and control plans to ensure conformance
