Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager/Engineer

Mead & Hunt is a Top 100 national engineering/architecture consulting firm with a growing water/wastewater practice. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a senior water/wastewater project manager/engineer to join our team. Responsibilities serving as the project manager for civil/environmental water and wastewater projects; overseeing design as well as performing technical design tasks; drafting proposals with scope and pricing; mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff; serving as a client manager. Travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have all of the following:

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, environmental or related engineering from an accredited college or university
  • At least eight years of relevant experience
  • PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

  • Leading the design of water and wastewater projects, with specialization in one or more of the following project types:
    • Large diameter pipelines
    • Water/wastewater treatment
    • Pump stations
    • Effluent disposal and biosolids
    • Stormwater
  • Project management (scope, schedule and budget)
  • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
  • Client management for municipal and county governments
