Job Summary:

As an Electrical Assembler, you are expected to perform skilled fitting and/or electrical assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment. You will perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • No minimum education required

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing and electrical assembly environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area

  • Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts / mechanical aptitude

  • Working knowledge of electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform skilled fitting and/or electrical assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment

  • Perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards

  • Do aligning, adjusting, and required secondary machining

  • Work from wiring schematics, point-to-point wiring drawings, mechanical drawings, specifications and shop orders

  • Use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices

  • Perform skilled electrical wiring assemblies including electrical components

  • Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel

  • Keep accurate production records/logs etc.

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules

The payrange/rate of pay for this position is $19.91-$30.37; base payoffered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
