Position Summary

Embark on a transformative career journey with the Oceaneering Engineering Rotational Program (OERP), a dynamic two-year initiative tailored for engineering graduates and early-career professionals. This program offers a distinctive opportunity to engage in four immersive full-time assignments spanning various Oceaneering service lines and job functions. Crafted to cultivate the future leaders of technology, the program exposes participants to diverse roles, functions, and industries in a condensed timeframe. Collaborate closely with senior engineering staff, mentors, and peers to foster career development through on-the-job experiences, informal interactions, and formal training. Successful completion of the program leads to strategic placements in permanent assignments, aligned with individual skills, preferences, and business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL



  • Engage in conceptual design work, engineering analysis, and the preparation or review of technical proposals, equipment evaluations, and sourcing.
  • Provide direct support to Engineering Manager/Project Manager/Project Engineers during each rotation.
  • Author or review technical proposals, work instructions, procedures, and specifications.
  • Conduct initial conceptual design work based on project design criteria.
  • Contribute to the design of new products and techniques, modify existing designs, enhance installation techniques, and develop test procedures.
  • Conduct equipment evaluations, sourcing, and potential supplier selections.
  • Evaluate project design basis data to determine the feasibility of proposed equipment and/or services.
  • Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment for engineering, analysis, and design-related tasks.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

REQUIRED



  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and organizational skills, time management, multitasking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen who is not a dual citizen of any other country.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the U.S. DoD.

DESIRED



  • Degree or concentration in one the following or related engineering disciplines: systems, software, electrical, controls, reliability, robotics, mechatronics.
  • Prior university internships in engineering.
  • Coursework, project work, or job experience that demonstrates an ability to think at a higher level and act systematically to identify problems, requirements, and solutions.
