Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.

The Tablet Press Operator is responsible for all activities related to the compression of the product as per formula instructions. This role is also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.

Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday through Friday)

Responsibilities:

  • Dispenses raw materials per a formula independently as well as within a team environment
  • Matches all labels with batch records
  • Documents process as per formula and SOPs
  • Loads and unloads raw materials.
  • Safely operates powered industrial trucks
  • Monitors process periodically and report any abnormal conditions to the Manager
  • Complies with company policies and procedures
  • Maintains regular work attendance
  • Responsible for following safety procedures and guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing, packaging or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Must have great organizational skills
  • Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions in basic English
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and exercise basic mathematical skills
  • Able to work overtime as the Business requires

Physical Demands:

  • Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing/warehouse/packaging environment for an extended period of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish)
