The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, Prospect Development, the Assistant Director, Prospect Development is responsible for partnering with fundraisers by providing strategic information and fundraising intelligence that drives effective decision-making throughout the fundraising cycle. This position will manage the prospect research and portfolio management efforts of the Development and Alumni Relations office within the Columbia Business School to support the school's fundraising priorities. They will operate proactively and reactively to identify and analyze prospects; record interests; organize and maintain news alerts; discover and evaluate tools and resources; offer suggestions for procedural improvements and best practices adoption; including documentation updates; managing portfolios; and building strong relationships with fundraisers. They must work well with all levels of management, both internally and externally. This individual must be an organized and motivated team member invested in advancing the goals of Development and Alumni Relations at Columbia Business School.
