Training Specialist & Instructor

Description:

The role is focused on delivering and developing training solutions, with a strong emphasis on live class instruction. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale training rollouts and be willing to travel extensively across multiple states, including Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Florida (all paid/expensed). The position requires a balance of both training delivery and content development, with a preference for candidates who can adapt to varying needs. Experience with IT systems training is beneficial but not mandatory.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $33 - $40 / hr. w2



Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery and Development: Create and deliver effective training solutions, focusing on live class instruction for the client's Automated Distribution Management System.
  • Travel and Onsite Training: Travel 20-40% of the time to various operational centers across specified states, conducting training sessions that may require overnight stays.
  • Project Management: Work within a team to assess needs, develop solutions, and create training content and documentation. Manage the training schedule over a 13-week period, with some non-travel weeks.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Collaborate with team members to develop creative and effective training solutions, addressing tasks both independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Balance between training delivery and content development, adjusting focus as needed to meet project requirements.


This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is capable of managing both the logistical and instructional aspects of large-scale training initiatives.



Experience Requirements:

  • Training Development and Delivery: Proven experience in both developing and delivering training programs, particularly in a live classroom setting. This includes creating training materials and effectively presenting them to diverse audiences.
  • Large-Scale Training Rollouts: Experience in managing and executing large-scale training initiatives, preferably across multiple locations. This includes coordinating logistics and ensuring consistent delivery of training content.
  • Travel and Onsite Training: Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with experience in conducting onsite training sessions that may require overnight stays.
  • Project Management and Team Collaboration: Experience working in a team environment to assess training needs, develop solutions, and manage training schedules. This includes the ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems and implement training solutions.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and balance between training delivery and content development, adjusting focus as needed.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey training content and interact with various stakeholders.
