Position Description: The Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Engineer position is part of Model e Connected Vehicle organization located within OEM Chicago Assembly Plant (CAP) PVT Engineers are the first line of defense regarding functional system quality for the products built at CAP. Responsible for VFG V29 - check engine light both software and hardware for powertrain components and modules. The PVT Engineer is responsible to deliver vehicle line and functional quality objectives and handling ongoing product development issues. Reviewing daily warranty claims from our dealer network is key to understanding which issues need to be prioritized for containment actions. Other activities include reviewing connected vehicle data to identify trends, details, and data to support external concerns Skills Required: Strong problem solving and decision making. Good communication skills both orally and written.
