Lab Tech

After Training - Night shift role (7pm -7am)

Training should last about 2-3 months

You would work the following schedule/Rotating

Week 1 Mon, Tues, Fri, SA ON

Week 2 Wed, Thurs, SU ON

Training

The training program will last for two to three months. The first month will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the schedule for the subsequent months may follow the same hours, depending on staffing levels. Worksite currently has a dedicated person on day shift who could assist with training.

Education and Experience/Skills:



  • College degree preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience, considered



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide basic laboratory test analyses, inventory & prepare lab supplies, maintain (verify, calibrate, maintain) laboratory equipment
  • Perform test method evaluations Perform QC tests on raw material, in-process, finished product samples and wastewater samples brought to the lab per SOP's and sample testing plans
  • Complete associated documentation
  • Perform verification, calibration and preventive maintenance in accordance with schedules identified in ISO
  • Assist and participate in the EHSQ Management System (e.g., nonconformance, TVP, audits, inventory
  • Instrumentation (e.g., GC, HPLC, GC/MS, AA, Rheometer, IR)
