Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Delivery Manager to lead and manage complex Salesforce implementation projects for our federal clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful Salesforce projects, strong technical expertise, and exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership:



  • Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Drive project planning, execution, and delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Oversee project teams, including Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts, and other technical resources.


Client Management:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
  • Proactively manage client expectations, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with clients to review project progress, discuss issues, and make necessary adjustments.


Technical Expertise:



  • Possess a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases and industry trends.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams and troubleshoot technical issues.


Risk Management:



  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address potential issues.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and review risk mitigation strategies.


Financial Management:



  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability.
  • Monitor resource utilization and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.


Quality Assurance:



  • Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, testing, and quality audits.
  • Adhere to industry best practices and Salesforce standards.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Salesforce delivery, including roles in delivery management, enterprise architecture, project management, and technology implementation in full life-cycle Cloud/CRM engagements.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Salesforce projects within federal environments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer, Salesforce Experience Cloud).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Bachelor's Degree

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Arlington, VA

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $160,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
