Job Description: Amherst College invites applications for the Senior Accountant and Endowment Administrator position. The Senior Accountant and Endowment Administrator is a full-time, year-round position, starting at $95,000 per year - commensurate with experience. The College is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Senior Accountant and Endowment Administrator to join our financial team. Reporting to the Accounting and Endowment Manager, the individual will play a key role in administering endowment and gift transactions using Workday Financial Management. The successful candidate will support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensure accurate financial records, maintain compliance with accounting standards and policies, and serve as a resource for other accounting colleagues. Utilizing independent judgement, this position will analyze accounting processes, business controls, and make recommendations to the Endowment and Accounting Manager, and the Controller. The individual will work independently on key projects identified in the Controller's Office. Key Responsibilities:
