GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for supporting the program manager in the planning, execution, documentation, and reporting of assigned programs. The Project Analyst will closely monitor all material and labor expenditures, customer correspondence, project timelines and assist in coordinating support needed to ensure program goals and objectives are met.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Prepare and distribute program status reports to meet internal and external customer requirements
  • Facilitate and maintain good records of both internal and external program communication
  • Coordinate with other departments to carry out program needs and requirements
  • Maintain project schedules and due dates
  • Keep program manager informed of all issues, problems, and accomplishments on assigned programs
  • Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

  • Work independently and efficiently with minimal direction/oversight.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:



  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities at this time.

Required Experience:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:



  • Skills in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and non-technical customers
  • Knowledge and general familiarization with the aerospace and/or defense industry preferred


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Successful candidate must possess a bacheloris degree in business or related field. A combination of training/certification and practical experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in PC use, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint required.
  • Government contracts, Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation System (DFAR) experience preferred


WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Office environment
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to adhere to company and industrial safety standards and protocols
