Network Administrator

Our Corporate IT Group is seeking a Network Administrator to join the team in the Kennesaw, GA (Corporate) location. From managing cutting-edge infrastructure to meticulous documentation and reporting, this role offers a diverse range of exciting responsibilities.

Infrastructure Management:

Deploy and maintain Fortinet firewalls, switches, APs, and other security appliances
• Monitor network performance, security, and availability
• Conduct regular security reviews and assessments
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Implement network policies and access controls
• Ensure seamless connectivity and high availability
• Perform network upgrades and patches

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate network documentation
• Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements
• Provide recommendations for enhancing network efficiency

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years experience in firewall management, Fortinet environment preferred but not required
• Fortinet Certification (FCP/FCSS/NSE 4 or higher) is preferred
• Experience with a broad range of Fortinet technologies including EMS, Forti Manager and SD-WAN. ZTNA experience a plus
• Experience with cloud networking
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security
• Strong understanding of DNS (Domain Name Services)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
