WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: You will be leading a team that shapes our critical investments around platform security, regulatory and compliance, privacy, and our ad policy. We're looking for someone who can both up-level our competency here while also working with the business and other product teams to help The Trade Desk continue to grow. This is a central position and you'll be expected to work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, legal, ad policy, and data privacy, to ensure that all products and services meet security, compliance, and privacy requirements. You'll need to up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, CPRA, NIST, and SOC 2, and advise the organization on best practices and regulatory requirements. You will need to act as the subject matter expert on security, compliance, data governance, privacy, and educate internal and external stakeholders on these topics. The growth in our team is going to accelerate with your execution skills and ability to work with several team members across disciplines. We value relationship and trust-building on our team. You will need to partner with key groups like our legal and ad policy teams. You will need to be opinionated on product positioning which will result in debate and achieving consensus with these groups. Your work will help us drive business worldwide, so the scale is huge. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: 10+ years of Product Management experience with at least 2+ years at Principal or Director levels. * You should be able to lead, communicate and drive effectively with executive leadership across the company * Strong knowledge of security and privacy regulations and best practices including GDPR, HIPAA,CPRA, NIST, and SOC 2. * You will challenge our thinking. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
