Logistics Analyst

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

Cherokee Insights is seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide logistical support to INSCOM.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary for Logistics Analyst: $105,000 - $120,000. Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Logistics Analyst Responsibilities Include:



  • Prepares requisition documents and forwards to applicable sources.
  • Monitors the status requisitions in the document register.
  • Maintain the document register, assign document numbers, and record the status and demand for material.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of the document register and determines appropriate courses of action.
  • Maintains accountability of equipment and stockage.
  • Fill out US Army, and locally prescribed logistics forms.
  • Moves equipment virtually within GCSS-Army or other online database.
  • Creates hand receipts and sub-hand receipts utilizing GCSS-Army, manually (as needed).
  • Generates and distributes inventory reports to hand receipt and sub hand receipt holders.
  • Create ARIMS compliant labels & updates (as needed).
  • Work daily in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) assisting in the creation of Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders (Direct and Reimbursable).
  • Requisition, receive, store, issue, segregate, care, preserve, inspect, and accurately inventory equipment and repair parts; processes repairable/turn-in items.
  • Maintain and stocks supply room.
  • Monitors internal facilities work order system & maintains correspondence in association with work order system.
  • Be able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up 50lbs.
  • Prepare correspondence IAW AR 25-50. Maintains dispatches up to four Government vehicles.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services of government vehicles.
  • Be able to perform all duties to ensure timely, courteous and quality support to INSCOM.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Logistics Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or five (5) years of experience in Army or Department of Defense logistics at the Battalion or higher level
  • Experience with Global Finance Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Global Combat Service Support Army (GCSS-A).
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
