As part of the Enterprise Compliance - Program Management Office, this senior consultant position will support the development, continuous improvement and strategic implementation of TransUnion's High-Impacting Issue Response Practice. Under guidance of the Business Resilience Senior Manager, you will lead a variety of program elements that assist TransUnion with identifying, mitigating and managing issues that may have a business impact across multiple functions.

What You'll Bring:

As the Enterprise Compliance - Program Management Office, we are responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of global programs, policies and procedures that provide support to TransUnion's compliance initiatives. Our team members maintain strong partnerships with TransUnion businesses to extend the reach and impact of our programs.   • 4-6 years of practical experience in legal, compliance, risk management, issue/incident management, project management or business resilience.
  • Must be detail and deadline oriented; attention to detail, conscientiousness and accuracy are necessary for success.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute routine work independently and to provide quality deliverables on deadline.
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills in both large and small group settings, as well as strong relationship management skills.
  • Commitment to personal development, including an ability to learn quickly and adapt to business needs/priorities as needed.
  • Must be able to independently perform program's operational tasks and demonstrate judgement around when to escalate issues.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in law, business, risk management, information technology or a related field of study and we will consider 5-8 years of experience in listed fields, in place of formal education.

Impact You'll Make:

Program Execution & Development

  • Coordinate a skilled Issue Response function to engage rapidly with internal business partners (Compliance Advisory, Legal, Privacy, Communications, Information Security, TPRM), external law firms and functional leaders to manage and coordinate resolution of high-impacting issues. This will include typical project management tasks including but not limited to communicating with issue stakeholders, scheduling meetings, interacting with the issue management system, maintaining accurate and timely issue status.
  • Provide high quality executive summary updates to senior leaders from issue identification through to resolution
  • Lead after-action reviews and root-cause analysis workstreams in partnership with functional leaders, teams and business partners
  • Design playbooks to document protocols and procedures for specific situations and test playbook effectiveness through coordinating periodic simulation exercises
  • Support all aspects of the global issue response program, including implementation of processes, tools and systems to respond, assess, measure, manage, monitor and remediate issues.
  • Develop training materials and train stakeholders on program elements and systems.

Communication & Writing Skills

  • Ensure development and distribution of guidance to global partners related to:
    • Using tools and processes that support the response program
    • Performing root cause analysis
    • Conducting issue investigations
    • Documenting and communicating results, and
    • Monitoring remediation efforts
  • Prepare summaries, reports and metrics for management, auditors, regulators and executive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain detailed procedural response documentation and training materials in support of program continuity and growth.
  • Plan and prepare communications, which requires skill, tact, persuasion and/or negotiation to accomplish the objectives of the communications
  • Organize and facilitate virtual and in-person meetings with employees at all levels across the company in both large and small group settings

Analysis

  • Independently research and recommend to management new or enhanced solutions for the purpose of improving existing or developing new issue response processes
  • Identify functional interdependencies in response processes to ensure efficient and effective response to high-impacting issues.

Teamwork

  • Must collaborate and influence effectively on issue response with a variety of levels and business units within the TransUnion organization.
  • Ensure that knowledge gained from response efforts is documented and shared with all response partners
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $82,700.00 - $120,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
