Duties, Responsibilities & Other

This PM position will focus primarily on macro sites but may also be involved with small cell sites, the modification of existing telecommunications facilities and other project types as required. Direct project responsibilities will focus on SOW reviews, quoting, scheduling, financials, personnel management, project production and reporting.

    Tower background preferred.
  • Candidate should have 5 - 9 years of experience in Wireless Construction.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to understand construction plans, specifications and procedures.
  • Candidate must be a strong leader with the ability to manage and mentor subordinate staff.
  • Oversee multiple crews performing Wireless cell site construction.
  • Maintain internal and client databases, plus project trackers as required to support projects.
  • Responsible for project management, client interaction, as well as technical and fee proposal preparation within the CI discipline.
  • To provide oversight for project scoping, permitting, materials and site surveys for communication projects.
  • Work with clients, engineers, municipalities, suppliers, contractors and peers to overcome delays related to wireless construction.
  • To visit job sites, conduct meetings, develop correspondence, resolve conflicts, develop estimates and schedules for multiple projects associated with communication systems.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, oversee crews, staff and outsider partners to meet or exceed client expectations and schedules.
  • Good communication, supervisory and mentoring skills, reliable, attention to details and accuracy are necessary.
  • Project tracking and closeouts.
  • Valid driver's licenses to travel as needed to project sites, client meetings and growing the business.
  • Plan, direct, coordinate and budget all activities associated with the construction.
  • Provide guidance, best practices and lessons learned to the extended teams.
  • Successful candidate will have demonstrated business development and project management experience within the past 2-4 years.
  • The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to work with a diverse team.
  • Other duties as assigned and some travel maybe required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, and work in all weather conditions and climates, willing to work evenings/weekends when required, travel for overnight and extended stay projects is possible. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 - 12 years of professional experience.
  • Appropriate professional certification preferred.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
