Job Description

Participates in the ongoing process to identify opportunities to refine applications and workflow to meet business objectives, including assimilating applications, workflows, and operations to improve efficiency and outcomes internally and patient service externally.

Job Responsibility




  • Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Revenue Cycle function. Assists in executing workplans to complete enterprise design; implementation of enterprise revenue cycle systems and transformed workflows.
  • Implements training program to effectively balance classroom, web-based and practical application forums to manage the diverse educational needs of adult learner demographic.
  • Collaborates with revenue cycle leadership to routinely monitor strategic operating goals and objectives and confirm ongoing transformation alignment with goals.
  • Implements policies and procedures to facilitate the efficient functioning of related departments; promotes optimal efficiency and productivity by integrating functions across service lines.

Job Qualification




  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership / management experience, required.


Preferred Skills



  • Efficient task management skills with the ability to lead projects and cross-functional initiatives.

    • Ability to multi-task to meet multiple project deadlines.

  • Experience with front end operations (front desk or registration)
  • Keen organization and time management skills
  • Utilization of MS Office Suite proficiently: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
  • Ability to compile, interpret, and summarize data to improve AHIM workflows to ensure compliance, efficiency, and data accuracy in support of operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to educate and train practice location staff on AHIM medical records practices and standards.
  • Experience with EPIC - OnBase applications / or other electronic medical record within ambulatory care settings.
  • Understanding of medical record management compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to optimize AHIM processes to ensure a complete and accurate medical record.
