REPORTING TO: MRO Supervisor

LOCATION: Tulare, CA

From your PASSION to ours

Reporting to the MRO Supervisor, the position's responsibility is for all functions, and activities of the

MRO storeroom. This includes, but is not limited to adhering to all Lactalis Company material management policies and

procedures for the requisition, receipt, disbursal, transfer, disposition and periodic physical inventory of all maintenance

supplies, repair parts, e-auctions and repairable equipment that supports the efficient and reliable operation of the plant all

while maintaining the storeroom in a neat and orderly condition at all times.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Perform all goods movements in and out of the storeroom in a timely manner
  • Maintain records in accordance with plant and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Cycle count all storeroom materials on a daily basis, and execute inventory adjustments in a timely manner as required.
  • Ensure cycle counts, and minimum and maximum stock reports are performed and inventory discrepancies corrected in a timely manner.
  • Establish, analyze and adjust inventoried items to optimum stock levels. Considering factors such as customer requirements, urgency, usage, vendor, cost, availability, criticality, kitting and other inventory optimization practices.
  • Expedite requisitions when required to support critical plant operations. Initiate corrective actions to prevent future shortages as required.
  • Ensure proper storage of Hazardous materials. Route records and manifests for waste oil and universal wastes to Safety/Environmental Coordinator.
  • Verify all goods and services received both physically and in SAP match with what was ordered, and invoiced.
  • Arrange material pickup, or shipment for interplant transfers and vendor returns.
  • Build and stage material kits, and inform customers when the kits are ready for issue.
  • Execute E-auction process for Cultured department
  • Train and assist plant personnel on the use of the SAP material inventory system, as well as the storeroom's standard operating procedures.
  • Provide analysis and reporting on storeroom performance against key performance indicators and create and implement corrective action plans when required
  • Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards as outlined in the plant's QRMP accountability document, including the implementation, improvement and ongoing maintenance.
  • Comply with our policies and procedures as related to LHD Management System.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

  • Must have strong organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of LHD MRO inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Proficient computer skills including SAP, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Experience with SAP PM & MM.
  • Experience in food manufacturing preferred. Experience in purchasing and requisitioning.
