Our team in the Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineering Manager. You will report to the Commercial Aircraft Quality Director.

As a Quality Assurance Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Mentor and lead a high performing team of Quality Engineers, including establishing priorities and managing resources in alignment with the needs of the business

  • Interface directly with customer and regulatory agencies in support of external audits, product integrity investigations, root cause/corrective actions, and risk mitigation activities

  • Facilitate product and process improvements using problem-solving tools and techniques

  • Support and frequently interface with various domestic and international Moog manufacturing facilities

  • Develop cost estimates and associated quality planning requirements for complex program/project proposals, and monitor quality engineering budgets and schedules

To be considered for the Quality Assurance Engineering Manager role, you will need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology

  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead teams, as well as the ability to influence others outside of own job area to accept practices and approaches

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of quality assurance experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment including experience with AS9100 or other similar quality management systems

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $110,000.00-$145,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
