Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to lead our AR function and play a vital role in modernizing and optimizing our financial operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, you will manage the AR team and processes, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and efficient collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts receivable team, providing training and performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
• Oversee the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for clients.
• Develop, implement, and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify and execute strategies to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage payment application processes to ensure accurate allocation of receivables.
• Review and analyze billing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with IT to improve AR application functionality and system design.
• Continuously refine AR workflows to streamline operations and reduce errors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth invoicing and collection processes.
• Prepare and present AR performance metrics, including aging reports and collection forecasts, to senior management.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing and payment application, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and develop innovative solutions to achieve business goals.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), Excel, and data modeling software, to support efficient financial operations and analysis.
