Job Overview

The Delivery Merchandiser Full-Service Teammate is responsible for efficiently filling vending machines in customer locations at schools and businesses, in a courteous, professional, compliant, safe, and timely manner. This role is also responsible for ensuring that appropriate rotation standards are maintained, and that cash is collected at all vending machine locations. Finally, as with all our teammates, this role serves as an ambassador of our company and the world's most recognized brands.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delivers products to customers on assigned route; fills vending machines, rotates product, and removes out of date product, in cold drink vending machines, according to Company standards
  • Ensures neat appearance of all Coca-Cola Consolidated equipment and product in assigned accounts and maintains a safe work environment
  • Ensures proper accounting of product, cash, and assets daily; performs daily Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Shared company ethics, values excellent customer service skills
  • Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
  • Past job performance must reflect dependability, initiative, professional demeanor, and the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to work in fast paced continuous lifting environment
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. of product repetitively
  • Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck, etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
  • Availability to work some weekends and some holidays
  • Previous route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandising products, or retail management experience is strongly preferred
  • Excellent safety record
  • Ability to read, speak, write and understand English to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license for your state of residency and excellent driving history for the last seven-year (7-year Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or permit (Class A) or the ability to obtain such
  • Has ability to pass and maintain D.O.T. physical requirements

Work Environment

The work environment will vary, including but not limited to exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non temperature controlled
