Overview

As a Yard Coordinator, you will handle a variety of tasks, including:

    Loading and unloading equipment
  • Fueling machines
  • Performing general maintenance
  • Tracking and organizing heavy equipment
  • Conducting equipment inspections

Additionally, you will engage in light mechanical work in our new prep shop, installing, testing, and adjusting new machine attachments.

Pay Rate: Starting wage up to $34.64 per hour with equipment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, clean, load, and unload heavy equipment and attachments.
  • Disassemble, assemble, and install components and parts.
  • Inspect, operate, and prepare machines for delivery.
  • Install, test, and adjust new machine attachments.
  • Coordinate and track equipment shipping and receiving.
  • Prepare and scan paperwork for all equipment transactions.
  • Organize and inventory the yard, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Fuel and jumpstart machines as needed.
  • Perform final inspections to ensure machines are clean and work-ready.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform general housekeeping and other assigned duties.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with loading/unloading earthmoving machines (e.g., Backhoe, Dozer, Excavator, Skidsteer).
  • Proficient in operating forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
  • Willingness to work overtime and after hours as needed.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
