Role Summary:

The Contract Quality Systems Specialist is an early career opportunity for a key individual looking to join a company at the forefront of electrification of our transportation infrastructure! Looking for a motivated and high energy individual to join a dynamic team support quality and safety programs at Electrify America. This is a great opportunity for broad exposure to various parts of the business in one of the fastest arenas in technology! Role will receive in-depth training and onboarding for all key responsibilities, a great opportunity for a fast and motivated learner. Candidate will support key processes working closely with quality and safety program leads in the quality & safety department at Electrify America. The role will report to the Manager, Quality System & Safety.

Responsibilities of the position will include key support of high-priority tasks including tracking key metrics, providing summaries of technical issues, supporting ISO 9001 program, perform data reporting and analysis, document control process, vehicle integrity data analysis and management. Great communication skills are key as this role will work with a number of departments within the company including our customer care center, network operation center, engineering and lab personnel, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, quick learning, likes to learn about technical topics, has a strong focus on execution, and is highly motivated to participate in a rapidly emerging industry.

Role Responsibilities:

Safety Program Support - 40%



  • Assisting the safety team with reporting and managing data and information, KPI reporting, trend analysis, document control.
  • Complete compliance summary reports.
  • Assist the safety program lead with presentations including charts, tables creations.
  • Performs technical and administrative duties in general safety.


Quality Program Support - 40%



  • Support the Quality System ISO 9001 Program with technical and administrative tasks.
  • Assisting the Quality System team with reporting and managing data and information, KPI reporting, trend analysis, document control.
  • Assist the quality program lead with any presentations including charts, tables creations.
  • Assist the quality program lead with drafting, development, and process management.


Additional responsibilities - 20% of time



  • Support invoice receiving and payment processes for services.
  • Other operational or administrative tasks as assigned.


Qualifications

Years of Relevant Experience:



  • 1-5 years


Education (Required):



  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Discipline, such as Engineering/Safety/Quality


Education (Desired):



  • Advanced Degree


Skills:



  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to track, follow-up and communicate milestones.
  • Strong and proven self-management abilities and ability to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills including listening and oral and written presentation of ideas.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex information.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform a variety of duties including both technical and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills, ability to multitask, ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment with shifting priorities.

  • Excellent computer and software skills - skilled in the use of office, statistical analysis, presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated high level of initiative.


Specialized Skills (Required):



  • Experience in high tech industry either academic or internship.
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to
  • summarize technical findings from engineering records.
  • Experience in data analysis, intermediate statistics.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel suite including pivot tables, v-lookup.
  • Significant experience creating reports and presentations summarizing technical content.
  • Experience supporting the management of vendors and subcontractors


Specialized Skills (Desired):



  • Automotive or EV Charging industry experience
  • Salesforce/Jira/Confluence knowledge
  • Safety or quality professional membership
  • Experience with ISO 9001
  • Experience with financial documentation including quotes, invoices, purchase requisitions, purchase orders


Work Flexibility:

Hybrid work; 5-10% travel
