POSITION SUMMARY

The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible processing customer purchases, as well, maintaining and promoting all items for sale in the Pro-Shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provides customer service and processes customer sales, including over the phone and the internet
  • Drives Sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
  • Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner
  • Operates cash register accurately and efficiently while following cash handling procedures
  • Manages financial transactions through reconciling daily cash drawers
  • Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards
  • Performs monthly inventory and cycle counts
  • Receives deliveries, unpacks and prices merchandise, and stocks shelves
  • Utilizes hand-truck or dolly to move merchandise as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of experience in retail sales
  • Must have experience with MS Office and possess basic math skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment


  • Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 25 lbs. Various tasks may require intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, and the ability to walk, reach, kneel, crouch and handle work related supplies and tools



WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
