Under general supervision, designs, builds, implements, and maintains systems software applications including programs and scripts in multi-vendor environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designs, builds, implements, and maintains systems software applications including programs and scripts in multi-vendor environment.

  • Analyzes business requirements and proposes solutions.

  • Performs integration of software components from internal and/or external developers.

  • Testing and debugging programs and resolves application problems.

  • Documents application procedures and specifications.

  • Writes program code based on system requirements as necessary.

  • Works with systems analysts and project manager to develop project schedules and estimates. Monitors progress of projects.

  • Maintains knowledge of programming languages, principles, and procedures.

  • Provides guidance for quality assurance activities.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Technical training in programming languages and computer systems is required.

  • 0-1 years software engineering experience, including experience working with software in a multi-vendor environment.
