About the Role

The Consultant, Portfolio Strategy will report to the SVP of Portfolio Strategy Consulting and work closely with the SVP on developing innovative business and real estate related studies for Colliers' Occupier Services clients and platforms. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing complex business, real estate and analytical projects. A key responsibility will be to delve deep into client portfolios to identify potential transaction opportunities and create business cases for change.

Key to the position is the ability to synthesize complex business and real estate problems into solutions for our clients. The candidate must exhibit strong analytical problem-solving capability, exceptional digital and technical capabilities across multiple platforms, ability to lead complex projects, develop presentations, have strong public speaking skills, and have a deep and functional knowledge of real estate tactics and strategies.

In this role, you will...

  • Lead, with support from SVP, real estate portfolio consulting assignments using highly analytical frameworks and problem-solving methodologies

  • Autonomously identify supply-side location and property-level opportunities which Enterprise clients can take advantage of. Develop business cases that justify action and change.

  • Lead, with support from SVP, commercial real estate portfolio optimization, location strategy, site selection and planning studies,

  • And create commercial-grade consulting presentations integrating multiple media types into presentation templates and formats

  • Autonomously identify supply-side location and property-level opportunities which clients can take advantage of. Develop business cases that justify action and change.

  • Create best-in-class Business case, financial, market analysis and cost benefit analyses

  • Lead development of business analytics & key performance indicators, synthesize and present consulting solutions to clients

  • Have expertise in financial modeling and market analytics

What you'll bring...

  • MBA or M.S. in Real Estate Is preferred

  • Ability to lead studies in business intelligence platforms (Ex. PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik)

  • Experience and/or familiarity with IWMS and CAFM systems

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

  • Prone to big picture thinking, strategic decisions which are well thought out and analyzed

  • Experience in real estate mandatory and/or management consulting practice preferred

  • Training or experience in location, economic and/or site selection methodology preferred

Pursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information:

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $85,030.00 to $100,036.00

Bonus
This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training

Benefits
Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term / long-term disability. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days' vacation annually. Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. 12 weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment.
